KUALA LUMPUR 23 Ogos 2010- Persatuan Pengguna Pulau Pinang (CAP) menggesa Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan supaya segera menarik balik penjualan minyak sapi QBB di pasaran.

Presidennya, SM Mohamed Idris berkata, ia berikutan tindakan Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Jakim) yang menarik balik status halal minyak sapi itu kerana didakwa mengandungi elemen yang meragukan.

"CAP telah berhubung dengan Jakim bagi mendapatkan kesahihan status halal minyak sapi itu sejak Julai lalu. "Jakim menjelaskan bahawa mereka telah menarik balik status halal minyak sapi itu sehingga yakin dengan status halal produk tersebut," katanya dalam kenyataan akhbar di sini, hari ini.

Menurut beliau, Jakim dan Jabatan Kimia telah menguji minyak sapi itu dan mendapati ia mengandungi elemen yang meragukan dan tidak boleh dimakan oleh umat Islam.

Sehubungan itu, beliau menggesa orang ramai supaya menghentikan segera pengambilan minyak sapi itu sehingga kandungannya disahkan halal oleh Jakim.

Sementara itu, Jakim menerusi laman web www.halal.gov, turut mengumumkan pihaknya telah menggantung Sijil Pengesahan Halal Malaysia kepada Syarikat QBI Packaging Sdn. Bhd. berkuat kuasa 19 Ogos lalu.

"Tindakan itu diambil sehingga Jakim berpuas hati status halal produk berkenaan. Oleh itu, QBI Packaging Sdn. Bhd. dilarang menggunakan logo halal Malaysia pada

I was having the same problem on Snow Leopard and, after some time I did the following:  
Removed all mysql gems I had:  gem uninstall mysql  

In my case I had to specify both mysql-dir and mysql-config (and -arch x86_64 to 64 bits)  export ARCHFLAGS="-arch i386 -arch x86_64" ; 

gem install --no-rdoc -- no-ri mysql -- --with-mysql-dir=/usr/local --with-mysql-config=/usr/ local/mysql/bin/mysql_config
